Gaming for me started when I used to watch my dad play Solstice on original Nintendo. He'd play after work, but whenever he wasn't home, I would always try Gloverball, but could never figure out what the heck I was doing...
My neighbor had gotten Sega, and I was always over there playing Sonic or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - one of those games you can only walk in one direction and jump or shoot. I finally convinced my parents to get an N64 for Christmas and got into Goldeneye and Super Smash Bros. We'd always be on Goldeneye with the small T.V. and everyone squinting at their corner of the screen trying to play multiplayer.
On the P.C. side, I was always heavily into Battlefield, Starcraft, and Counter-Strike. I joined a clan in Counter-Strike - BtB or Brothers to Battle - and just loved how we played tatically. We called out strategic points in practice and everyone was assigned a certain section depending on the objective - eliminate the enemy or bomb the target. This was back in middle school, and from there I've just loved FPS'sespecially in a multiplayer setting.
