Other than my academic life we can jump into my personal Life. I'm Currently 21, my birthday is coming up in August (get me something!) and I love that I can legally drink now haha. I have a girlfriend and I'm trying to get her to do a commentary with me but we'll see how that goes. My friends know about my gaming life and surprisingly don't give me shit for it! My favorite band is The Dave Matthews Band. Seriously I'm warning you now don't get me off on a tangent about them because I could talk you into the ground about them. I love firearms; it really was the reason that fueled my passion for FPS'. My Favorite Rifle would have to be the EBR M14, I currently don't own any weapons but at some point I will get my license to carry. I've shot almost every modern caliber and I've handled a lot of the standard Issued Rifles from around the world.
Enough about my personal life I guess, I'm sure many of you are more interested in my gaming life. I started when I was about 4 or 5 playing Super Mario Brothers for the Super Nintendo. I've owned the Super Nintendo, N64, Playstation 1 & 2, GameCube, and Xbox & Xbox360. My favorite game would have to be hands down Ghost Recon 2 and if you haven't guessed my favorite series would be the Ghost Recon Series. Every Gaming aspect for me has revolved around the Ghost Recon Series. The Clan that Matt and I made for our Call of Duty days was called the GHOST TEAM. We formed it with the original 6 and 1 year later we had over 20 or 30 members with a bunch of other associates in other clans.
To this day I'm still about teamwork if Ghost Recon has taught me anything it would be situational awareness and sticking together as a team. I don't think that a lot of gamers today play like that. The majority of the players today rush guns first, solo, and not head first. Every action in life has a consequence whether good or bad and if you want to be successful you need to realize that at some point. I understand at the end of the day video games are for fun but no one likes losing. I don't need to be first to have fun, as long as I win I can be dead last knowing at the end of the day people keep count of the "W".
Concerning the Minecraft Server my mind runs at 100 mph I'm always thinking up new ideas and plans. However I will always start a project and either beat it to death until it physically has no use to anyone anymore or I stop at the interior designs. I do try to over complicate things (more for my end) as long as it will benefit the Users. But the end result is a server that will be able to maintain itself and will always keep people interested in coming back. I up to new ideas, whether I like them or not is a different story, I Usually see a couple steps after my initial idea and won't pitch an idea until I've covered every loophole. Minecraft as of right now is becoming more of a job for me and I really can't keep up with all of my projects. I'm just hoping that one day all of our efforts will pay off after already putting in hundreds of hours into this server.
That's pretty much my gaming life/ life in a nutshell. I know I'm going to add more once I have more time, I thought I should get at least something up there in the mean time. Later guys.
